Wisconsin worker rights

I think Scott Walker is trying to make a political move so he can be endorsed for the next presidential election.  Deep down inside he knows that he is wrong for trying to take worker's right away from them especially since they offered to pay healthcare and pension.

  1. You are right that Walker has other political aspirations. He is the first Republican governor to take this stand which has made him a front runner for the GOP bid for President. Sad. I never felt he was interested in the common good of the people as Milwaukee County Exec. Do the Republicans remember that Lincoln said "government of the people, by the people, for the people" not of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations?

  2. As a worker who NEVER has had any of these benefits, I think it is good to have them contribute more. They don't need to have their bargaining power stripped, but a little more contribution seems in line.

  3. I feel bad about the unrest in Madison. I do feel that the Democratic electives should be back in the Capitol doing their jobs. It will be a shame to have 1500 people out of work because they won't do their jobs.

  4. Ronnie I thought your Blog on; Wisconsin - Worker Rights was right on time in light of the current state of affairs on the Political front.

    Mr. Walker's AGENDA is nothing new of course in the Political Arena;

    Target and Attack the Poor / Middle Class, while granting GENEROUS FAVORS to the VERY RICH.
